HairPora
Privacy

Your hair consultations are personal.

HairPora uses the information you choose to provide to deliver a private AI hairstyling experience. That may include your verified account email, stylist profile, hair goals and preferences, live consultation conversation, camera frames, microphone audio during a live session, photos you upload or capture, optional hairstyle inspiration, optional outfit/style context, consultation summaries, learned stylist preferences, and looks you choose to save.

Camera, microphone and AI processing

HairPora requests camera and microphone access only when a feature needs them. During live consultations, audio and visual information are processed by the AI service so HairPora can respond to what you show and say. Ending or leaving a live consultation immediately stops HairPora's active camera and microphone streams before post-session memory/history processing begins.

Private photos

Try-on source, inspiration and style-context photos are placed in private account-scoped storage. Temporary try-on inputs use short-lived signed private links for server-side AI processing and are removed after the request. Photos connected to a look are kept only when you choose to save that look.

Saved data

Your profile, saved looks, consultation history and learned stylist memory are tied to your verified account and protected by account-level access controls. HairPora does not use race as a shortcut for determining hair characteristics. Visible complexion and undertone observations are estimates because lighting, makeup and camera exposure can distort color.

Your controls

You can delete individual saved looks and consultation-history entries, clear learned stylist memory, export your HairPora profile and consultation records, or permanently delete your HairPora account and private stored images from the Profile screen.

Important limits

HairPora provides hairstyling guidance, not medical diagnosis. If a camera view appears to show a concerning scalp or health issue, HairPora should recommend an appropriate licensed clinician rather than diagnose it.

This notice may be updated as HairPora evolves. Production support and contact information should be published with the final public service.
